Shaul Carmel and his guests
    * A short interview with the poet about the page
dedicated to his guests
    * The Internet facilitates the bridge over frontiers
    * Navigating at Cafe Internet
    * A chance for poetry
        - Mr. Shaul Carmel, what can we expect to find in the pages you reserve for your Internet guests?
        - In this place of the web, I intend to host important poets from Israel and from abroad, prose-writers, public personalities with whom I want to discuss problems concerning culture and especially literature.
        - Who are going to be the first guests in your pages?
        - I don't intend to reveal the name of the first guest, I can only say he or she is going to be from abroad.
        - I saw you at "Cafe Internet" in Tel-Aviv, when you first navigated on the Internet sea, fascinated by the poetic universe already existent in the net. What does the Internet mean for poetry?
        - It means very much. The poets will have a chance to better know each other, their creation has an instant access to a much larger public, not only at home but also in other countries where readers of the same language live. It is due to the Internet that the Israeli poetry of Romanian language may be read not only by Romanian readers in Israel but also by poetry fans in Romania and the Republic of Moldavia, as well as people born in Romania who are living in other countries and feel the need to read poetry written in the language of their childhood, the language in which they learned and which perhaps was and remained their mother language. The poets may upload unpublished poems in their web, before collecting them in a volume. They can have a dialogue with their readers on various meridians. And there is another thing too. For very many poets, the Internet offers the occasion to be known by translators in other states. The Internet facilitates the bridge with foreign countries. And the navigation through the Internet poetry, hosted in many thousands of poetic web sites in many languages, means a way of traveling abroad and continually meeting other poets and their work.
        - So, we should expect to find unpublished poems in your Internet pages?
        - Yes, in a few weeks I am going to update the pages and a few new poems
are going to be available to the visitors who are any time welcomed in
my Internet web
        - Good luck!
